SEX PISTOLS, WELCOME HOME 1997, 16mm, 25 min

A portrait of the band which changed the world in 1977, a film shot on one sunny day in Ljubljana in 1996, when the Sex Pistols finally came into town during their reunion-tour.
Meeting the icon â€oJohann von Rottenâ€? was not really possible, but nevertheless, his absence created a true relation to the phenomena of the Sex Pistols.


GARY LUCAS & GOLEM 1998, Betacam, 30 min

The guitar-maniac who played with Capt. Beefheart, Iggy Pop, Leonard Bernstein, Patti Smith, Lou Reed and especially with Jeff Buckley came to Kinoteka, Ljubljana and performed a soundtrack for the German silent movie â€oThe Golemâ€?. The sold-out cinema was amazed and Gary gave an astonishing solo-concert as an encore.
